Bishop Jasper Roby

Bishop Roby pastored historical 17th Street AOH Church of God and built the AOH Cathedral in downtown Birmingham Alabama. He was the Second Presiding Prelate In The AOH Church Of God 1973 – 2000 Consecrated Bishop In The AOH Church Of God in 1956 and Served 1956 – 2006Birmingham, Alabama. 

Bishop Elvis May

Bishop May served as Interim pastor following Bishop Roby and later returned to Pratt City AOH Church of God. He later went on to follow God’s call as the founder of another church where he was soon consecrated as Bishop and served until his death.

Bishop Larnie White

Bishop White became a part of the Apostolic Overcoming Holy Church of God in 1960. He built the Lord a house in Orlando, Florida, namely, Washington Park A.O.H. Church of God, which he was pastor for six years. His work did not stop there; he founded and was pastor of the St. Cloud A.O.H. Church of God for a short while, then was asked to go to Daytona Beach, Florida. Bishop White then served as the third pastor of the A. O. H. Cathedral. Bishop White served faithfully and was later assigned to Mountain View for 2 years and then to Pratt City AOH where he retired from pastoring in 2021.

Bishop George W. Ayers

Bishop G. W. Ayers served as the Third presiding prelate of the A.O.H Church of God and  as the fourth pastor of the AOH Cathedral. After pressure from the City of Birmingham to obtain the property for a domed stadium Bishop sold the AOH Cathedral and purchased New Jerusalem AOH Church in Center Point Alabama. and later after the opportunity to purchase The Cathedral of the Cross presented itself Bishop Ayers and the National AOH Leadership purchased Cathedral of the Cross as the National Headquarters Church. Bishop Ayers pastored the congregation until his death in 2015. Bishop Ayers was Consecrated Bishop In The AOH Church Of God in 1965 and Served 1965 – 2015 

Overseer Reginald Davis

Overseer Reginald Davis served as the Co-Pastor with Bishop G. W. Ayres and was a faithful assistant to him until his death. Overseer Davis served in the capacity of Pastor until June 2015 when Bishop Phillip Wright was appointed to the Church as Pastor

Bishop Phillip Wright

Bishop Phillip Wright was born and raised up in Faith Tabernacle A.O.H. Church, Chicago, Illinois.  He met his wife, Arnetha at the A.O.H. Youth Convention in 1970. They married in 1972 and had four children. He  held office during his youth at the District and National levels of the A.O.H. Church of God. Bishop Wright was Consecrated to Bishop in 2002. He became the 6th pastor of the Cathedral congregation in June of 2015 following the death of Bishop Ayers and served faithfully for 6 years and was dearly loved by the saints. Bishop Wright passed in June 2021
